The district held its annual Leadership Conference August 11-13 at the Drury Inn in Valdosta, GA. Focusing on the theme “Marriage in the Ministry,” presentations were given by Loren and Karen Stacy, Walter and Lily Apen, Al and Grace Haynes, and Steve and Jo Allison Krome. Announcements were made of new district positions: Walter Apen as assistant district superintendent and Tereso Hernandez as area representative for both the English- and Spanish-speaking churches in North Carolina.
