What an amazing time we had in our committee meetings! Due to the large number of applicants (23), we met for a full week, March 6-13. There were many hours of interviews and discussions, many pages of material for each applicant, and much time spent in prayer. On Sabbath, I was honored to preach at the Conroe, Texas church, after which we returned to the hotel in Houston for rest and a special committee prayer time.
The good news is that we granted ministerial documents to 17 ministers (seven LPC’s, one license, and eight credentials), and we encouraged others to press on toward their ministerial document.
I think I can speak for everyone on the committee in thanking the North American Ministerial Council for entrusting us with this huge responsibility and the wonderful privilege of fellowship we share. We are especially blessed to meet and work with these amazing candidates. The work is sometimes arduous, but it is tremendously rewarding!
