The Conference president, executive director, and district superintendents met in Atlanta, GA, for their semi-annual meeting October 13-17. They attended a Super Sabbath at the Marietta church, hosted by that church and the Stone Mountain congregation. Minister Walter Apen and wife, Lily, along with Pastor Hubaldo Hernandez and wife, Julie, coordinated the wonderful event, attended by 550 members from all over the Southeast District. Ronald Rousseau, superintendent of the Central District, and Conference President Loren Stacy delivered sermons. The Core Executive Team appreciated all the work by the membership of both churches that went into planning and presenting such a large event.
