Driving home from the Area IV Women’s Retreat, held August 13-14 in Wading River, New York, I was struck by the beautiful setting in God’s nature as we basked in His Spirit. Focusing on the theme “God’s Presence in our Lives,” we sang, prayed, rejoiced, and listened to God’s admonitions.
Women from Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York joined in one accord to greet one another with a hug after a few long years of stillness. Thank You, Jesus, for the blessings!
