The district (Oregon and Washington) held our annual fall SWORD retreat in late September, with about 40 young adults attending. Pastor Tim Hinds from Marion, OR, spoke on the theme “Be Still.” After hearing his insights on the life of Queen Esther and Zechariah, we discussed how being still can be our choice or God’s, and that it can take many forms. It was a blessed weekend full of fellowship and happy memories.
