The Calgary congregation considered the Sabbath following Lord’s Supper a reason to celebrate, to remember what Christ has done for humanity. It was a special time as well to invite friends to come out to church, a reminder that churches were once more fully open. The rousing chorus that Jesus saves filled the neighborhood as the celebration continued late into the afternoon hours. This was capped off by a specially prepared fellowship luncheon, enjoyed by brethren and visitors alike.
