The Southeast District held its annual Leaders Conference on August 16-18 at the Camp Adrian Conference Center in Adrian, Georgia. Attending were 85 pastors, elders, and church leaders, along with their wives.
General Conference Communications Director Jamin Teran gave several presentations on immigration laws and resources, and Steve Krome spoke on local church organization. During this meeting, two new district ministries were announced: Media, which will expand under the direction of Keila Hernandez from Tarboro, North Carolina; and Young Adult, directed by Jesus and Leidi Velazquez of the Lakeland, Florida church.
