The Jasper, Arkansas congregation opened its arms to host a beautiful Octoberfest family retreat October 18-20. Under the guidance of Pastor Jason Overman and Superintendent Chip Hinds, 160 attendees from across the district immersed themselves in wonderful fellowship, joyful worship, and challenging messages around the theme “Casting Cares and Crowns.” There was lots of good food and fun too, including a hayride.
But the highlight of the weekend was Brother Gustavo’s joyful baptism in the creek Sabbath afternoon. Praise the Lord!
