Each year, the youth of the Eugene/Springfield congregation plan a missions fundraiser. On the evening of April 15, this event was a Talent Show, Dessert Auction, and Homemade Salsa Contest. The evening began with a dinner of plate tacos, which included the homemade salsa entries. Kadian Keim and Robert Watkins tied for first place!
The talent show included skits, songs, and a martial arts presentation. A lot of friendly bidding took place during the dessert auction, with Jerry Ogren as auctioneer. The highest bid was $170 from Randy Chalus for a cheesecake made by Tracey (Chalus) Wascher.
What a great evening to show support for our youth!
